If you are serious about improving your online standing, and understand the importance of content marketing, then there’s every chance that this article will help you to shape the way you go about improving your online position. We all know that content marketing is a big deal at the moment, and it’s only likely to become more important as time goes on. All you have to do is ask yourself a very simple question: do people look to the internet for information on almost everything? If you are answering yes, then congratulations, you passed the first test!

For so many people now, the internet is the first port of call for information, so that’s exactly what you should deliver. Focusing on this is a great way to kick off a fabulous marketing campaign which focuses purely on this premise. The content you create should focus on the questions your customers, or clients ask. If that sounds simple, it’s because it is! People want answers, and if you have a good company, you have the wonderful position of being able to help anyone who is interested in your niche or market. Get out there and answer some questions.

How?

By finding out what the questions are! Talk to everyone in your firm, and get thinking yourself. What do your clients need, and more importantly, want to know? Trawl through social media sites accounts held in the company name, and literally dig out the questions you have been asked. Once you have gathered say thirty different questions, it’s time to start producing content.

Thirty Questions = 90 Pieces of Content

That might not compute immediately, but this is a great opportunity for you to create. First of all, you should be able to quite effectively write thirty articles, each one based on an individual question presented to your company in the last few months. Whether you think the subject matter is interesting or not doesn’t really matter – you are doing this because you have hard proof that people need to know this information.

Thirty Videos

Once you have created thirty articles, you should then create thirty videos. Stick to the same topics, and you can of course give similar answers, but you should change titles, and don’t just duplicate the content with the same words. Doing this is important because some people don’t want to read, they want to watch.

Thirty Podcasts

Once the videos are done, it’s time to create a podcast. Again, the same formula should be applied, but change the titles, and if possible, don’t just use the audio of your video files, although duplicating in this way would be better than not doing it at all. The reason for doing this? Well most people who don’t like reading like watching, but there are plenty of people out there who like to watch but can’t. A podcast is great for someone who drives a lot, or likes to listen to things in bed.

Following this formula will mean you can get an amazing ninety pieces of content out there in a pretty short space of time. Coming up with content ideas is easy, because you are just using questions people have already given to you, and you know it’s going to be good content, because you are providing answers that people want! Now, all you have to do is write the content!
